  • The town map has now been frozen, but the map can still be viewed below and by clicking here.

July - August 2021

Stage 2: Developing and presenting draft Place Plan content

September - November 2021

  • Over the Autumn the Place Plan team will be running further focus groups, again with local representatives to look at topic specific areas to develop the content of the Place Plan. The output will be a mid project report - essentially the foundations of the Chepstow Place Plan.

Stage 3: From draft to adopted Chepstow Place Plan

January 2022 onwards

  • In 2022, the foundations of the Plan will be developed into a full draft Place Plan which will be shared back with the local community and local partners such as Monmouthshire Council for comment and input.

The draft Plan will also need to go through formal processes with Monmouthshire Council to become Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG) in order for it to carry some weight in planning decisions in Chepstow.
